Keep an accurate food journal of what you eat, how much and when you eat. Also when you take your meds how dose. Then rate how you're feeling and what your symptoms are if you're not feeling well, and what time you have the symptoms. There's no one magic pill for everyone and different foods can affect people in different ways. Keeping a journal will help you and your doc figure out what you need faster than if you just become a big experiment!

My gastro gave me zofran for nausea..i feel sick almost every day and I'm extremely bloated and uncomfortable. I feel the worst in the morning .now my doctor won't refill it cause of side effects so I just deal..now I have high liver enzymes and high cholesterol..no matter of i eat or don't I have issues.

Oops Bentyl wasn't recalled it was the medicine for dieareha that was recalled,please forgive me. I can't take any medicine now only for migraines and fish oil supplements and stool softener and allergy medicine at night and depression meds.

I live off promethizine and I was surviving with Bentyl also a medicine that was recalled. When you live with pain every day it's hard to know what is normal. I have had family and friends ask how could you not know how serious this was all I could say is cause I live in pain constantly,I have a little brother who suffers from IBS too he is the only one who understood. It's not in our heads it's in our digestive system and we need Drs who practice in IBS all the time. Now I have a colostomy bag and my belly don't hurt no more.
