What Enzymes Do You Take And How/ What Exactly Do They Help? Also Which Are Best For Helping Control Yeast Overgrowth. Thank You.
I had SIBO and also had a yeast overgrowth in my gut. My Gastro doc gave me antibiotics for the SIBO and Diflucan for the yeast, but what I discovered is that it has much to do with what we eat and drink. Gluten feeds bacteria in your intestines and can cause overgrowth and then gastro issues. Also wine because it's fermented sugar and has yeast can also cause overgrowth. I used to have 1-2 glasses of wine a day. I took myself off of wine over 3 months ago as well as Gluten because I noticed every time I had Gluten, I had horrible gas pains, bloating, cramping, etc... I'm now doing better off of both of these. It's not easy at all to eliminate what you love from your diet, but I'm just not willing to go thru pain for food or drink. I also discovered over 3 years ago that I'm lactose intolerant, and when I researched about the overgrowth of bacteria and yeast, lactose is also something that feeds that overgrowth in your gut. Hope this helps in some way.
Thank you!
