I took a medication that significantly eased my IBS for 35 years, unfortunately the licence for Lomotil was removed a couple of years ago in the UK.
The substitute is Imodium, which is of some very limited help, but no real substitute.
I envy some of you guys (and gals) in the States.

When you say license…. Do mean you need a prescription now?? We never had free access to lomotil without a prescription here in the US. It’s a paregoric based drug so we don’t have ready access to it

At my wit’s end. Just finished treatment of antibiotic which exacerbated my IBS-D.
