A myIBSteam Member asked a question đź’
Escanaba, MI

So I have decided I am sick of the stomach pain, nausea, throwing up, and the other end issues. With no help from the dr’s. I finally am going to start giving up gluten and see if that helps eat a little better, and cleaner. More veggies that kind of stuff. Is there anything that others have tried that has helped, vitamins giving up certain things? Any help or incite would be very appreciated.. thank you

Does Anyone Have IBS And Crohn's Disease?

A myIBSteam Member asked a question đź’
Toronto, ON

I need HELP if someone can
I suffer from both IBS and Crohn's Disease and I was just wondering if your back and all down your legs ache like crazy, causing you so much discomfort, you can't eat, drink, sleep, or relax
I'm in constant pain 24/7 both with my stomach, legs and back, I'm literally not sleeping at all, and cry myself to sleep almost every night.
No one should have to deal with so much pain all day everyday and night!!!!
Does anyone have any experience with this, or can help me… read more

Who Else Hates “patrons Only” Signs?

A myIBSteam Member asked a question đź’
The Villages, FL

I’d like to see public establishments post a sticker on their door indicating that people with IBS - or any other elimination disorder, bladder or bowel - are welcome to use their restroom. I hate to see the “patrons only”’sign when I have an emergent need.

I totally agree, I thought one state was going to do that, maybe in the Northeast, but then it died down.

Has Anyone Else Tried The Low-FODMAP Diet For IBS-C (NOT IBS-D)? If So, How Did It Go For You??

A myIBSteam Member asked a question đź’
Calgary, AB

The diet seems to be really geared towards IBS-D especially from what I can tell. I know when I first tried doing it it helped the bloating, but made everything else worse, because I was following all the low fiber (and often pretty heavy) recipes on Pinterest... not great for constipation or someone whose gut is triggered by heavy foods. Combining the low-FODMAP diet (modified with what I know I can handle based on the reintroduction phase) with a more personally "constipation friendly" diet… read more

Isn't Cause Work Problem

A myIBSteam Member asked a question đź’
Pittston, PA

Can't seem to make it to work on time due to pain, multiple bm every morning. Harassed by supervisors, they don't believe i can have problems only in the morning. They think I'm lying even with certification from Dr. Won't make accommodation for a one hour delay. Others have flex time. Not sure what to do. Anxiety makes it worse. Any advice.
