Has Anyone Else Had A DX Of EPI? My Digestion Is Off Past Couple Of Weeks And My IBS-D Is Flaring. I’m Thinking They Are Related….

Nothing I usually do seems to be helping lately (ie fiber, pre/probiotics, peppermint caps)

DX is medical term for diagnosis. EPI is Endocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency….. not enough digestive enzymes are produced by my pancreas. Can’t afford the “Creon” prescription for that so I try to use over the counter stuff. A struggle for sure. And yes, I only eat Greek yogurt but not every day…. I take a super pre/probiotic.

Have you tried Yogurt? I'm Lactose Intolerant but I can eat Greek Yogurt. I eat a brand that has 6 live cultures. I have a small bowl... maybe half cup to two thirds twice a day or more when I have a flare which is what I've been going thru on and off lately. Are you under stress right now? This greatly affects it. What is DX or EPI?
