Who Has Taken Dicetel For Their IBS Before? Did Anyone Suffer From "morning Sickness?" When They Took Their First Does Of The Day?

Dicetel (pinaverium bromide) is an anti-spasmodic which can help to relax the smooth muscle of the bowel. Dicetel can be used to treat general symptoms of IBS such as diarrhea, constipation and pain. It is taken in tablet form.

Yes, it makes me feel nausea if I take in the morning without food. I try to take all medications with food unless otherwise noted in the prescription.

Prescribed Meberevine 20 mins before food which seems to work. Also bland boring diet GF with only cooked food i.e. No salads unless cooked like beetroot or potato salad. Also only fruit that has been processed or tinned

Never did anything for me....was taking it to stop the muscle spasms in my abdominal area. Very ineffective med.

Does anyone else on here sometimes gets diarrhea after a meal, which makes you feel cold, tired and slight gripey t/ache. Think I must be having a flare up!

I don't take any tablets from the doctor for my IBS only cholesterol and they got that wrong 40mg instead of 20mg no wonder I was not feeling well
